By using this website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
1. What SouqCompare is
SouqCompare is a price comparison website. We show prices and product information from online stores in Qatar so you can compare them. We are not a shop: we don't sell, deliver or guarantee any product. When you click “Go to shop” you leave our website, and any purchase is an agreement between you and that store, under the store's own terms, prices, delivery, returns and warranty.
2. Prices can change - always check the final price at the store
- Prices, discounts, stock and delivery costs change often, sometimes several times a day. We check stores' prices regularly, but the price on SouqCompare can be out of date or different from the price at checkout.
- The price, stock and conditions on the store's own website at the moment you buy are the ones that count. Please check the final price (including delivery, fees and taxes) and the exact product on the store's page before you pay.
- Coupons and offers shown here are from the stores and may end, have conditions, or not work for every order.
3. Product information may contain mistakes
- We bring together listings from many stores. A store's item can differ from what we show - for example in size, storage, color, model number, regional version (such as Middle East or international), warranty, bundle contents, or whether it is new, refurbished or used.
- Product names, specifications, descriptions and photos may be shortened, written by us or taken from the stores, and may contain errors. Photos can be for illustration only.
- Matching the same product across stores is done carefully but can occasionally be wrong.
- If you see a mistake, please tell us and we will correct it. We are not responsible for a purchase made on the basis of information that turned out to be wrong; always confirm the details with the store.
4. How we rank and how we earn money
Store offers are listed by price, cheapest first. We may earn money from advertising, from sponsored placements (always marked “Sponsored”), and from fees or commissions some stores pay when a shopper clicks through or buys. This never changes the order of prices. We don't list every store or every product available in Qatar.
5. Using the website fairly
You agree not to:
- copy our content or data in bulk, or use bots, scrapers or other automated tools on the website without our written permission;
- click on store links or ads to cost a store money, or create fake traffic of any kind;
- try to break into, overload or disrupt the website, or get around its security;
- send false, unlawful or offensive content through our forms.
We may block access that breaks these rules.
6. Stores and advertisers
- Stores that create an account must give true information and may only list a store they are allowed to represent, and accept our Terms for Stores. Every store is reviewed before it goes live, and we may decline, hide or remove a store or a listing - for example for wrong prices, misleading information or complaints.
- Stores are responsible for their prices, products, delivery, returns and customer service, and for following the law in Qatar.
- Advertising and sponsored placements are agreed separately; ads must be lawful and must not mislead.
7. Links to other websites
Stores' and advertisers' websites are run by them, not by us. We are not responsible for their content, products, security or privacy practices.
8. Our content
The website's design, texts we wrote, logo and the SouqCompare name belong to us. Brand names and logos belong to their owners and are used only to identify products and stores.
9. Responsibility
We work hard to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”: we can't promise that it is always complete, current, error-free or online. As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the website, from a store's products or service, or from relying on prices or product information that changed or was wrong. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.
10. Law of Qatar
These terms are governed by the laws of Qatar, including Law No. (8) of 2008 on Consumer Protection and Decree-Law No. (16) of 2010 on Electronic Commerce and Transactions. Disputes are decided by the courts of the State of Qatar. Your purchases from a store are covered by that store's terms and by the consumer protection law that applies to the store.
